About 2/3's through, they show an old training film on how to fly and land damaged B-24's.

 

Different engines, flight control surfaces and tires out. A real How-To.  But what really got me was when, under certain conditions, they instructed the crew to "SHOOT THE OTHER MAIN WHEEL OUT".

 

Brass ones so massive, they had their own gravitational field.
