October 19, 20169 yr Before un-installing FSX I'll un-install all payware and freeware aircraft , scenery, and utilities ( there's a ton of them ). Do I need to un-install my peddles,throttle etc. ?

October 19, 20169 yr A few hints that will save you a ton of compatibility issues is to make sure you clean up all leftover appdata and programdata entries, also the registry . Make sure to set the coexistance flag in FSX steam registry entries to 0 if you don't intend to run the box version anymore. That way all addons will treat it as box version. Make sure to set that flag after installing but before launching it the first time to prevent double appdata /programdata entries. Steve McNitt
October 19, 20169 yr Author Where do I find the coexistence flag in FSX steam registry entries? Also instead of un-installing all of my addons would I be able to copy them on a disc.so they can be re-installed into steam?
