Hello, do any of you out there know of a good spotting scope to spot aircraft flying over my/anyone's house. Kind of funny, but, airliners.net on the photograph section would contain some really good information....

I use a Meade ETX-90 with a 45-deg erecting prism mounted on the back of the tube (needed to invert the image to upright). It's a great all-aound scope for planes, moon watching, and spotting on a shooting range. A T-adapter is also available for photography.To watch rapidly moving subjects, like planes, a sturdy free-head tripod is also needed.A word of caution about using a scope for plane watching, though.
