just finished exporing the new google beta feature -- Google video and watched several several minutes of a REAL freight hauler in the winter. Go to:http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=freight+dog&pl=1&lv=0and start playing to see what winter looks like to a freight hauler in "light" aircraft. If the above link doesn't work, go to:http://video.google.comAnd search on frieght dog to see his collection/documentation.Ignore all weird kid playing.Macromedia Flash required.edited --- Aircraft -- I am sure many of you can id, but I can't -- high wing, two engine -- in the longer videos where he is caught in ice he will take the camera out of the plane and show you the ice and i think the experts can id it then. It kewl collection from his work days in the cold. He even show a 10 below the gauge which on the ground in one of the videos. I think I will stay home inside in front of my simulator and be happy. that looks like it certainly would tighten the pucker with all the ice on the wind screen. ;-) Not 4 me. but if you gota eat and have family ...Regards,BobS

very cool, thanks for the info. Do you know what airplane he is flying? and where? that shorts in the background is sweet, I wish there were more Ai plans for the smaller cargo carriers who fly shorts around

From the external shots, looks like a Turbo Commander690. Nice clips. I enjoyed them. The one landing where his wind screen was covered with ice... that was interesting. Best regards, Jeff

He must have a lot of fun (& adrenaline too) :)The aircraft is always very "slippery" on landing, for me it's the most noticeable difference with FS9 and it's "on the rails" landing.
