November 25, 200520 yr How does FSCargo and FSpassenger compare? Do they complement each other or do mostly the same thing? If the latter which is best to buy? What pros and cons have each of these addons over the other?
November 25, 200520 yr Fscargo is as basic as it gets. You fly as fast as possible from one airport to another which you can decide delivering generic cargo. You are greeted on the ground by a pair of lights, either a pickup, fork lift or a cart. Thats it.Fspassengers has a gazillion options. Career, money, maintanece, warzones, failures, hungry passengers, playing them movies, screaming sick passengers. You get points deducted for forgetting to turn on lights, flaps, steep turns and banks ect ect.Go to their website since the features are too long to list here.Nothing really in common betreen to two at all.Cargo just gives you something to pickup and thats it.Passengers coverts fs2004 into a different game.
November 25, 200520 yr Author Dont know about FSpassengers, but i can tell you that FScargo is a complete waste of good money. All it does is a add some weight to your plane when you pick up some cargo at an airport, and you can see the box at the airport if you find it funny to drive around in your plane searhing for it, thats it nothing more. Another thing is that you have to buy other FSaddons like mistyfjords or else you have to add airports yourselves to fly to. I tried 3 times to generate a flight but the airports were not in FS9, no they were addon airports you have to buy, how fun is that. This could maybe be a good program if they implement more things to it, as it is now it should have been a little freeware program you can have fun with for 10 minutes and then delete it again.OHN
