Orbx water is land in Scotland

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have FSX and added Orbx Scotland, which works correctly.

I have just installed FSX Steam, and have added the five Orbx layers from the FSX SCENERY.CFG to the Steam SCENERY.CFG ... the Orbx scenery thus appears in FSX Steam ... BUT ... all the water around Scotland has land textures in it.

When I run FTX Central 2, it recognises I have FSX and P3D, but not Steam - should it recognise Steam as a separate option?

I even tried re-running the Orbx installer, but it does not recognise Steam either (I think it pre-dates Steam).

Thanks for any suggestions as to how to get my sea back!

Regards,

Iain.

I've two suggestions

- never ever do that kind of DIY tweaking job, a sure recipe for disaster

- go and get some support at OrBX where a competent team will help you to solve the mess

yep head over  to  ftx  forum, you need  to provide  at least 1  or  your puchase  orders   to get  support  though
