I updated to Linda 2.8.5 and PMDG 737 NGX 4.7 module as this is the plane I fly in Prepar3D v3.4.14 and buttons stopped working properly:

 

- Sometimes the "on release" works, sometimes it doesn't.

- When I try to reasign functions to "on press" and "on release" it does not work anymore

 

I'm also using last FSUIPC versión: 4.958.

 

Any suggestion? Because I don't know even how to start checking!

Thank you for reporting the OnRelease problem you are having. To help me investigate can you do the following:

 

1.   In LINDA Setup tick Developer Mode and select Verbose and tick GUI and LUA.

 

2.   Start Sim and LINDA and repeat error.

 

3.   Email to [email protected] these files: /modules/linda/aircrafts/config-hid.lua, /modules/fsuipc4.log and /modules/linda2.log.

 

4.   Turn off debugging at Step 1.

same problem here, the "on release" doesn't work anymore.

Also the zoom function I programmed on one of the buttons of my joystick now brings me either a view from Mars, or with my nose to the dirt.

Reverted back (again) to an older version.

I have been trying to reproduce the OnRelease fault without success. Please follow the procedure at post #2 and send me your evidence. There are changes in FSUIPC4 4.958 that may have an impact. What version are you using?

UPDATE: I have been able to reproduce the reported OnRelease fault. The work around is to Restart the Lua engine. A update will follow shortly.
