FSX hang mid-flight

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've been out of my sim for a little more than a month now. Today, I was flying on vatsim from DFW to CLE only to be greeted with a freeze during my approach. I have no scenery for KCLE, but I do for KDFW. Usually whenever FSX hangs or crashes, I know the drill. Check event viewer and look for an error. However, this time I really was confused by what I saw. It doesn't look like it's giving a clear place to look for a problem. I hope one of you guys can take a look and maybe tell me what went wrong!

In the past, this error was caused by a bad tweak (Affinity Mask) in the fsx.cfg.  Move your fsx.cfg to a temporary folder and let it rebuild.
