I just added a new aircraft to my hanger, the Carenado Dornier 228. MCE doesn't seem to like interacting with it, do I need to do a reset to factory settings again so it starts picking things up?

MCE should load with ANY aircraft.

 

It's how much assistance you can get from FO that varies.

 

If it's not loading, send the Dornier "Aircraft.cfg" file to support

What I'm experiencing is I request things like set FL100, FO says he's done it but when I look at the setting it's still the same. Other things do the same, lights, set Heading etc.

 

I'll send the aircraft config anyway, I was just curious if you ever had to reset MCE when aircraft were added.

No need to send "aircraft.cfg" unless the flaps commands aren't working.

 

This simply means, that particular aircraft isn't using standard FSX tokens, therefore would require custom interfacing like we did for PMDG 747, MD-11 and 34 other complex aircraft

 

If this was a heavy and popular aircraft, we'd consider it for interfacing. Unfortunately it's not the case.

 

You can expect FO to handle Gear, Flaps and radios dialling though.
