Why does this occur?  I get it every now and then on approaches.... (ignore the AI in yellow, I think I was overtaking him lol).  Is it elevated scenery or something?  I don't think I get it on every approach into the same field, but that pattern of AI is erroneous.

If you're flying into an add-on airport that has ground vehicles, if the vehicles are programmed as AI traffic, it'll show up on TCAS at least momentarily. I get it at FlightBeam KIAD occasionally.

All my airports are default.  Do the ground vehicles that come with FSX do this?

 

ETA: Actually, I do have ORBX freeware airports, but that isn't applicable to the NG landing airports.
