CTRL SHIFT Key activates Key alone also

Featured Replies

I remember some keyboard issues have already been reported, but I'm not sure if you are aware of this already:

When running Chaseplane (seemingly not in every session but from time to time) pressing a CTRL SHIFT Key combination also works as if the key alone would have been pressed. And that is not only inside Chaseplane but also affects commands outside of Chaseplane.

For example I have assigned "CTRL SHIFT T" to a "Right Rear" camera. "T" is assigned to "Set simrate to 1" in FSUIPC. Now when cruising with a simrate of 2 or 4 and then pressing "CTRL SHIFT T" to look right rear, with a lag of maybe one second the sim rate is set to 1 as if "T" was pressed.

I reproduced that with different keys/commands.

Sadly, we cannot prevent other applications from reading keyboard inputs as it would create a ton of other issues

Maybe you misunderstood.

The other application (P3D / FSUIPC) read "T" but I never pressed "T". I pressed "CTRL SHIFT T" and in that case "T" should not be read by any application. And this behaviour is caused by Chaseplane because it never happens without Chaseplane running.
