YPPH

Featured Replies

Anyone hear of a YPPH Perth Airport in development? Next week a big announcement with Qantas who will be finally running the new longest route in the world Perth to London when the 789's hit town. The old airport is so outdated and missing a whole terminal with Virgin Australia moving onto the International side. Looks like ORBX will not do and understand that the area could be another KSEA and VAS hogger. Would be good if someone could tackle the airport but any news would be good

Cheers

I found an outdated one for FSX by googling it, but it's pretty basic, works OK in P3D v3.4, could never understand why ORBX chose to do Broome but left out Darwin and Perth, Western Australia/NT is sadly lacking in any detailed airports for FSX/Prepar.

I flew YPPH to YPPD yesterday on Qantas.

Agree that a good YPPH would be nice.

Remember that Orbx does have one Perth airport, Jandakot, as well as some nice freeware of Busselton just down the road.

What about an Orbx Port Hedland (YPPD)? Would be pretty unique, with the huge salt ponds, the iron ore piles right in the middle of town and Australia's highest-tonnage port.
