I know this must be an easy fix but I am sufferring from a brain cramp. How to I cahnge the "experimental" call sign?

Just update entries in the [General] section:

 

atc_type=Rockwell

atc_model=Aero Commander

 

The ATC will use the atc_id in conjunction with the atc_type as long as there is no entry for atc_airline=
