Searching for a particular night texture set, need help

Featured Replies

A few years back I found a upgrade texture set for the night terrain lighting. I recently reinstalled the sim and Im trying to rebuild it carefully and not go to crazy with the add-ons and such. Im doing pretty well and Im keeping a lot of default stuff as it seems a lot of the add-ons I can live without. Im looking in particular for a set of night terrain textures which add some lights in the "dead areas" of flight sim. Even with added LC it improved things a good bit. I am curious if anyone can steer me in the proper direction. I'm not sure but I think it was FS Skyworld that had some enhancement packages, but I thought that was just the color of the existing lights. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This time around, when I find stuff thats a keeper, Im putting it in an actual log of changes to the sim. So far I have some "can't live without" stuff reinstalled and I have decided to leave some others out and its solved my stutter issues. The stutters were not bad, but I knew it was due to all the add-ons i have. In particular any of the AEU updates seem to cause stutters around airports. with the default stuff its way better so far.Hornit

Jim,This doesn't go back a few years, but niteview.zip by Terblanche Jordaan (which came out last July) fills in a lot of the rural dead areas with additional lights. Works well for me.John
