Hey Guys,I have been out of town, and moving the last few weeks so I am not up to date. I was wondering how the Captain Sim C130 is doing now? Wondering if all that is resolved and if people recommend buying it?I would love it, but $50 is alot of money, especially if it is still buggy or most of that fixed?Thanks!Jason

AVSIM has an excellent review of the product. Checkout "Reviews" above. The upgrade fixed the sound and that was the only bug I noticed in the original product. I think you'll really like it.Jim

The reverse thrust electrics bug is fixed, the sound problems are fixed, the "ACE changes only happen if fly now is used" bug seems to be fixed, although I've read a report that the VC light change doesn't unless you select "fly now". I wasn't able to reproduce this.It looks like they got very close to all of the reported bugs, if not all of them.There have also been some people reporting that it is a frame rate killer, although personally I have no problems at all with it - higher frame rates than with most complex aircraft.I would recommend it as well. :-)Cheers,Ian P.

Times have changed. This post made it to page 2. :-)The C130 is great. There were some issues on release that got fixed in a timely patch and you can pay directly. They also have the forum back online. Since the paypal issue was put aside aside from the customer perspective it's been a very professional release of a really good product. billg

NO.....NO.....NO Not another CS130 thread.........(Actually it looks like folks are pretty happy with the update and results)

I've not flown the update, for decency's sake I need to re-purchase as my bank got my money back from the "other issue" so until that's 100% settled and I re-purchase I won't be flying her. She is a sweet plane though, and was even with the bugs. Roll on the 13th December.

I'm glad because it seems that CS has listened to all the complaints people had about a lack of a support forum. Which goes to show that 100s of threads do have an impact. If this positive and upward trajectory continues, I have good hopes for their 767, which looks very good, much better than the LDS version. Of course, the 707 looks good, too, but then then the flight dynamics, well, that's another story.ricardo

I am IN LOVE with the Herk, she is so great to fly! I am sure this is one of the most exciting (for me - the most exciting) release of the year. It gives me so much pleasure!
