Landclass problem and question

Featured Replies

I recently reinstalled FS9 to weed out the cobwebs. I use FSGenesis LC and a good bit of my airport grass polygons have landclass in between runways and taxiways now. If I disable the landclass it goes away and returns to normal. I know there was a fix for this a while back that had something to do with the terrain cfg I believe and maskmaps. I overlooked backing that up I guess, too hard to remember all the stuff I have done to this sim over the last two years! Anyone have any ideas what fixes that? I know I was using FSG's landclass successfully with my last install so it can be done.ThanksHornit

I can't remember the name of the fellow, but the terrain.cfg mods were originally a fix for the seasonal CTD that surfaced pre-patch. I liked the fix so much that I've kept it in place despite patching my sim. The best I can offer is do a forum search for "Seasonal CTD" and Terrain.cfg and I believe you'll find the post in short order. It involves going to an third-party site and downloading some bitmaps as well (small download). Hope this helps!-John
