Traffic addon for p3d v3.4

Featured Replies

I have ut2. For the life of me I cannot get it to work in p3d. I've followed Poppy's guide several times, and still no luck. I also have My Traffic 6, but I don't really like it since the airplanes don't look as good as ut2, and I find the UI to be archaic. I have all the IVAO planes downloaded for use with my vatsim client of choice, but is there a way to make p3d utilize these for AI? Or are there any other great traffic addons I've missed? Anything good coming on the horizon?

youll have all the airlines in the world, updated flightplans and top notch repaints... you will just need to install them yourself which is pretty straightforward.

I'm not sure whether I'm misunderstanding you, or you are misunderstanding me... I'm looking for a AI traffic injector addon for p3d v3. Like Ultimate Traffic 2, or MyTraffic 6. By the looks of those link, you are pointing me towards repaints of aircrafts, or..?

yeah probably a misunderstanding, I was just pointing out that AI traffic "injectors" are outdated, poorly optimized and overall a huge concern for VAS and FPS loss in p3d or FSX. I just directed you to a method in which you can control all the aspects of what gets "injected" into p3d, up to date flightplans, HQ aircraft repaints, P3D optimized models (for some aircraft), etc. but I guess you are not that much into AI realism for which maybe you should just disregard my post.

I'm going to strongly second aamontoy83's recommendation. With a little work, using the above resources he linked, you can have outstanding AI with current liveries and current flight schedules. Alpha India group has all the links to the models you want/need and the flight plan packages. The other sites he linked have most of the repaints for the models. The only real tool you'll need is AI Flight Planner (freeware) to install said packages. It's a little more work than an all in one installer but it's actually quite user friendly.
