Still having issues with CP Experimental

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Still have the following issues in CP experimental (I don't have them in the non-experimental version) that I am not seeing them listed in the known issues:

1) Ctr+, Shift+ assignments doesn't work

2) XBOX wireless controller does not reconnect to CP when restarting following a power save auto shutdown

3) Many crashes during a flight that reset CP and have to re-enable experimental every time. I attach log below

4) Many times launching the app from the shortcut does not launch the app. I have to click it 2-3 times to actually launch

Hope these are also been get addressed.

Help AVSIM continue to serve you!
Please donate today!

Can you confirm that those errors are occurring at random moments during the flight and not a launch?

Thank you for this report!

Hello Keven!

The crashes I have noticed happen at random moments but also they happen many times when the XBOX controller disconnects going to power save mode.

Is the controller wired or wireless?

Edit: Nevermind, I'm an idiot who can't read

No problem Keven :)

I'm sure you will sort them out. Just wanted to make sure these are also in your scope. I'd be grateful if you could take a look. I will report back here if they are fixed in any future update.

Thank you so much Keven, I am so grateful for your excellent customer support.  I also get a NET framework error sometimes. I will screenshot it next time it happens. Just to metion that the XBOX wireless controller is working fine in the non-experimental version. When it goes to power save, I just power it on and it instantly working in CP. But not in the experimental version.

Hi Keven,

So far no update have fixed them. Also, the last one has become quite annoying as many times I need to restart my flightsim (P3D) for CP to start. After a crash, many times I click the CP shortcut I get the splash screen , then it closes and nothing happens. CP does not start, no matter how many times I try. The only solution is to restart P3D. Also, a crash is always happening when the wireless XBOX controller shuts down. Lastly the Ctr+, Shift+ assignments don't work.

Is these issues acknowledged by the team? I'd be happy to know if there are any news about the three issues.

We are aware of those issues and are working towards fixing them. We haven't been able to reproduce the keyboard issue internally so if you are experiencing the issue, please contact us via email

Regards,

Keven
