PMDG 737 NGX LAGS ON HIGH-END PC

Featured Replies

Hi! I have asked for help earlier but I still have the same issue. I have a really good PC.

Specs:

GTX 1060 6gb

I7 - 6700k

16gb RAM DDR4

Windows 10 64-bit

But unfortunately I experience lag in FSX using PMDG 737 and other add-ons. While playing GTA V I get over 80fps this is the case in other games too, but why is my fsx lagging so much, I only get around 10-20 fps in VC. Using FSX Steam Edition. Any suggestions what it could be? Would be very happy to get help :-).

Many users will lock the frame rate, thus giving your CPU extra time for each frame and reduces the chances of stutter or long frames.  I use 20 fps but you can experiment to see what works best on your system.  Above 24 fps I will get significant rate drops in the cloud or above an undercast but lock it at or below 24 and those rate drops disappear.

Full names please in the PMDG forums.

So, I have to try to lock the frames? I will check it out, and see if something changes.
