"No disk in drive" error with Steam Edition

I've recently had this problem twice in a row now. In the middle of a flight, unexpectly, I get a sort of "No disk in the drive" error message, and I have no choice but to shut down the sim. Did anyone else get this problem, and if so, how did you resolve it?
