  1. I've only had this issue if I try to enter enroute winds while a STAR is not programmed. So basic solution: make sure you put in a STAR, or at very least an arrival runway/procedure if there are no STARs at that airport, before you start plugging wind forecasts in.
  2. Same here! It was quite a while back, so I don't remember the exact length. With almost zero weight in the back you can go quite a ways.
  3. Global, and maybe the landclass and vector products, is fine for the high altitude stuff. What you probably don't need are the full-fat regions.
  4. I'm using a download manager. It's downloading, but incredibly slowly still. Been downloading Part 1 for the last four hours or so.
  5. I now do not have the blurries I did before. Guess this update worked its magic properly for me.
  6. Santiago - Sydney in the 77L, sometime last year. Clocked in somewhere between 17-18 hrs. There was a huge (100-150 kts), unexpected headwind over much of the ocean, almost twice what PFPX planned for. I suspected something might have messed up in ASN, but ASN restarts didn't change anything. Thought about diverting to Auckland for fuel, but threw the realism card out the window and chugged on. Still had about 9 tons of fuel remaining upon arrival.
  7. I have noticed more blurries.
  8. It's going to be much more detailed than the 757.
  9. Quick update, after sifting through the registered Level D forums, somebody suggested disabling windows error reporting. That seems to have worked.
  10. Yep, using W10. Seems futile to ask, but is there a way around those problems? I just wonder because apparently some people have this plane working?
  11. So I have since been able to install it and start the sim. However, the sim takes much longer to load up, and the menus are impossibly sluggish to navigate. When I finally have everything set up and hit "fly now" (after 30 minutes of click....wait....select aircraft....OK....wait..........click....select location....etc) I just have an eternal freeze. When I look in my process manager, I noticed there is a second fsx process. What is this, and maybe it's having some effect? http://puu.sh/pbzQI/b9218550a1.png
  12. I'm just wondering what will be in the "pro" version for P3D that won't be in the entertainment version. More systems. Aerosoft is a toy compared to this.
  13. The schedules yes, but not the gates, usually. Unless you're using some fancy version of flightaware that I'm not aware of
  14. Mostly just for US flights though, with a few exceptions.
  15. I've managed to avoid the Aerosoft version. Tried NL2000 and the FPS is not acceptable (I was getting single digits). So I'm still plenty content using Ray Smith's AFCAD.
  16. I have them both, and neither have been installed in my sim for years. I wouldn't waste money on either. Maybe consider X-Plane 10 and the FlightFactor 757. It's not perfect, but it's still probably the best 757 out there for any sim at the moment.
  17. They're all roughly the same good quality. I probably fly in and out of Gatwick the most.
  18. I have an older machine. NGX runs much better for me.
  19. Just a general question...is SODE exclusive to P3D? (I'm on FSX:SE)
  20. I am unable to get this thing to work. Thought it was a problem with EZdok. After installing the 767, I get some simconnect warnings and FSX just hangs and refuses to start up (everything is properly in the DLL.xml). Re-ran the Ezdok configurator. I installed all three of the simconnects. Problem still persists. If I uninstall the 767, this problem goes away and the sim starts up fine. I am on a standalone FSX:SE. No original boxed installation.
  21. No. At least not in its current state.
  22. Depends what you want. Carenado is easier. The Flight1 is more of an in-depth "study" sim.
  23. Ground Environment/Ultimate Terrain and the FTX Global/Vector stuff do the same sort of thing, and probably shouldn't be used simultaneously.
  24. I never had a chance to download the original installer, just this new updated one, and the installer ran perfectly fine! I just use standalone FSX:SE.
  25. It's only on this plane though (so far at least).
