F1 Super KingAir or Carenado C90 GTX?

Featured Replies

Depends what you want. Carenado is easier. The Flight1 is more of an in-depth "study" sim.

Easy, F1 Super KingAir.  For what you will pay for C90 GTX, you might as well get the F1, which is a much better product.  Plus, try it for 30 days, and if you are not happy, F1 will refund your money.  Carenado will not do that.

The F1 Super King Air has far better systems modeling, the Carenado King Air's all look pretty.

If you want simple and easy to fly, then Carenado C90 or B200.

If you want in-depth systems modeling and want to fly it as close to real world as possible, then get the F1 B200.

The MilViz B350 is likely to be another contender for an in-depth King Air, but it is still in development.

F1 King Air. It's got a great manual and tutorial flight that helps you get to grips with the systems depth.

Can't decide which one to purchase....what your opinion?

I would pass on and wait for the Milviz King Air 350i.

The F1 Super King Air B200 was an excellent addon in 2013, nowadays it is comparably very heavy on frames (it is by far the heaviest in my hangar) and its Garmin 1000 lacks VNAV, which in my opinion is a very serious flaw. Also, despite lot of attempts and requests on their forum, some of us never had SafeTaxi working. A nice aircraft, but not worth 50 bucks today in my opinion, when a newer version by Milviz is expected in few months with a properly working Proline 21 for the same price.

I don't have the C90 by Carenado, so I can't say much about it.

IF appearance is more important to you than functionality, then the Carenado aircraft should suit you better. The F1 B200 may not have all the G1000 functionality, but, as I understand it, what there is works exactly as it should.

I am looking forward to seeing the Milviz 350i and hopefully the analogue gauged version later...

Hmm was it used to be 50? It's now 59.95 USD. I would agree with getting the MilViz, more complete.  I only fly the F1 KingAir in P3D where it performs better.

I stand corrected. It costs almost 60 bucks, this is what I paid for it. And no, F1 does not offer any bargain for the KA to the best of my knowledge.

For a short time a P3D coupon was offered making the price 50 bucks

I'd go with F1 over Carenado - the avionics in the C are sh*t
