  1. Found the problem...it was a corrupted DLL.XML file. All is good now....
  2. I recently installed another Steam Game on my computer, on a different HDD than FSX-SE and now when I open FSX, it does not recognize FSUIPC.dll, or other dll files in the FSUIPC folder (Ifly.dll). I really have no idea what to do to correct this problem. I have uninstalled the other Steam game, but no joy. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
  3. Can't decide which one to purchase....what your opinion?
  4. Steve, I want to upgrade and can't seem to find version 2.11....any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  5. I have a question...I just installed FreeMesh X Europe yeserday (12 Nov 2015). Do I still need to install the various patches? Thanks for your attention.
  6. First off, I hope this isn't in the wrong forum. I am currently running FS9 with a Q6600 @3.5 and a Zotac 9800GTX card. I'm thinking of upgrading to a GTX650. I don't intend to go for FSX, but I do run other games. As the subject line says....? Thanks in advance.
  7. Thanks for your efforts Bill, but apparently your computer problems still exist as I haven't received anything. Hopefully you'll see this before you depart today. Congrats on the newest grandbaby and enjoy your time away. Mike
  8. Sent you a couple of PM's and haven't heard from you Bill. Please respond as I'm pulling what little hair I have left out. Regards Mike
  9. Thanks, that solved the download problem on the SP1 zip, but after installing it still have the CTD when I try to load the Avenger.
  10. Bill, I sent you a PM with my email addy....hope you got it Regards, Mike
  11. In my continuing quest to get my Avenger running properly on FS9 (i.e., no CTD's) I have been trying to reinstall SP1, but when I download it from the "Free Stuff" page on the Maam Sim website and attempt to open the unzipped files I get error messages and the files won't open. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mike
  12. Hate to resurrect a very old problem, but I'm in the same boat as lot of people in this topic. Was there ever a definitive solution? Last time I flew the Avenger (bout a year ago) everything was fine, but now the only way it will open is by disabling FSUIPC. This is after reinstalling original TBM files and SP1. The obvious changes since I last flew are Windows updates and a newer version of FSUIPC. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Mike
  13. FYI, I tried a flight (tutorial 3) and flew this time with an MS acft instead of a Dreamfleet or IFly and the .rcd file was saved with the name I gave it. This was using the " ; " command as instructed in the tutorial. I will keep experimenting however, because I also disabled autosave.dll. I do suspect the .dll file was the culprit however. Thanks Ronzie for your reply. Mike
  14. I recently purchased RCV4 and while I really like the program, I'm experiencing problems reference topic title. I've searched this forum but have just ended up more confused as to what to do. Problem is when I use the " ; " key to save files it names the .flt and .wx files wth the name I choose but not the .rcd file. When I save the file using "control-shift-;" it saves the .rcd file but won't pull up the FS box enabling me to name the files. I am running autosave.dll and understand that there may be conflict. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Mike
  15. Thanks for your reply Geoff. I'll give those settings a try. To answer your question, I've been flying mostly in the southwestern U.S. between KELP and KABQ, KPHX, and KSAN. Thanks again, Mike
