I have a question...I just installed FreeMesh X Europe yeserday (12 Nov 2015).  Do I still need to install the various patches?

The original releases are not updated over time. (what I mean to say is that current downloads are not updated)

 

If there is a patch that covers the scenery you use (such as Europe, in your case), then you need to apply the patch.

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 cores) Hyper on, Evga RTX 3060 12 Gig, 32 GB ram, Windows 11, P3D v6, and MSFS 2020 and a couple of SSD's
