This isn't really a mesh bug, but rather a conflict of the old inaccurate airport's elevation with the more the accurate mesh. For South America, I highly recommend FTX Vectors that help correct these airport elevations. I personally won't be updating airport elevations because of resources and time.

The 1.0 files should be overwritten. That's okay.

    Hey be77solo,

The airports have inaccurate elevations (and sometimes placement) so they will look odd with FMX. A solution is find a 3rd party airport file that correct these airports.

I'm personally a fan of these two free scenery.

TFFJ: Replaces the whole island. http://marcoh.gratisim.fr/stbarth_en.html (very nice)

TNCS: PW sceneries Vol.5: http://www.strikingsoftware.com/pws.shtml (an improvement but not perfect)
  4. AviatorMoser's post in 1.01 Patch torrent is not available was marked as the answer
I accidentally created the torrent without trackers (the others have a tracker), so that's why it probably gives you a torrent not found error. However, it certainly works fine without the tracker as I have uploaded about 25 GB of patch 1.01 alone. I'll upload a new torrent with trackers though.

Check the MyTraffic Professional installation folder. Inside there is a scenery folder loaded with updated airport AFCADS. Search for your airport codes and move them into a separate folder.
  6. AviatorMoser's post in Is it really such a leap when it comes to performance? was marked as the answer
Obviously, FSX:SE kills off AI traffic to boost performance.

Obviously, FSX:SE kills off clouds just for the heck of it.

Obviously, FSX:SE neutered autogen to give me 58 FPS.

Conclusions: FSX:SE is just one giant placebo pill. It's not actually there. You didn't purchase it for 5 placebo dollars. You took the blue pill instead of the red pill, and now the last two months has been a power trip inside the Matrix because we prefer bliss and ignorance over reality. The machines won.
