December 15, 200520 yr This is one movie you don't want to miss...http://xs59.xs.to/pics/05504/vista0000.jpg[/img]This movie has been 5 days in the making and I have never put this much effort into any FS movie I have made before. Personally, I think this is by a mile the best movie I have made, and I'll be suprised If I make anything better... EVER!A big thanks goes to Koorby for asking me to make this movie using his truly amazing textures for Australia. To everyone else... once Vista Australis has been released, I urge you to download it. Even if you don't do much flying in or over Australia, this add-on will convert you!So.. dim the lights, sit back and crank up the volume because the sound is very important to this movie :)http://vistaoz.org/videos/VOZ_Arkitekt.ziphttp://xs59.xs.to/pics/05504/vista0002.jpg[/img]Enjoy the movie and your comments are most welcome :)
December 16, 200520 yr MAN! that's one great film. Thanks for sharing that with us! Who's the band playing the soundtrack, and the song's title?
December 16, 200520 yr Plays here in slow motion and sound only left. I have WMP 10. What could be the cause of this??? I have another wmv file which it says is WMP 9 codec, and is working nicely! What codec(s) should I install?
December 16, 200520 yr Its truly stunning, though I hope they will correct the container cranes in the harbor visible in the openning shot of that video. Also the P&O Nedlloyd vessel about to be grounded...there are a few ships that need tweaking in placement still...but perhaps this is a beta...still STUNNINGLY Good.Im looking forward to downloading this when done!!!Eric AND
December 16, 200520 yr Tomlin,Thanks for you comments. The song is by 'Shapeshifters' and the track is called 'Lola's Theme'. However this version is very different to the original Club Mix as I have edited the structure of the song to fit the movie.Word Not Allowed, It was encoded on Windows Media Encoder 9 and it plays perfectly on my WMP10. Maybe its a corrupt download?ejoiner,I think your comments are refering to Koorby's Video further down the page in the forum! Thanks to the rest of your comments guys! :)
December 16, 200520 yr What's there to say? :D Great song, great scenery, great composition! Very nice job indeed.By the way, what add-on did you use to shoot those fixed scenes where A) the camera was fixed to a certain spot outside of the airplane and :( where the camera was fixed mid-air for a fly-by?
December 16, 200520 yr Very, very well done Adrian.I just love your work, they possibly some of the best FS vids out there, and this Vista Australis looks really good. Well done mate!I know that these vids seem like they take an age to do, but I am sure everyone appreciates them, so don't stop anytime soon, you got a good thing going here.Cheers,

It just does the positioning for ya. There's nothing there that can't be manually accomplished.

How can that be done with just the default tower view?Whar about those scenes where the camera is pointing at, say, the plane's nose but the plane's clearly not centered in the scene (as it always is in default spot or tower view)?Just curious, as they work very well and stand out from the standard, plane-centered scenes.
