January 16, 20179 yr I'm not asking for any specific dates or time frames, I was just wondering if once the PMDG 747 v3 is released for FSX, would it be a significant wait for the P3D version? After a little bit of research (which is likely incorrect) I found that for the 777, the delay was about a month. I saw a YouTube comment stating that he heard a developer say that the FSX and P3D version would be released at the same time, but I don't truly believe it. The reason why I am asking is because I want to make the switch from FSX to P3D, I already have most of the PMDG addons for FSX and I don't want to wait a long time until I can get the 747 for P3D. If I just went ahead and got it right when it is released for FSX, that would make my upgrade cost to P3D about $450, and I don't really want that.

The only ones who can answer this are the folks from PMDG, anything else is speculation like what you heard on some YouTube channel. PMDG has a forum on Avsim and the General PMDG section is where they post status updates and sticky them. Any news will be posted there. If you ask them now you'll most likely not get a response from the team as it's been asked before. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
