[Freeware] Chiriaco Summit (L77), California
@vbazillio 😂😂😂 I can’t believe you made that airport. I actually did a few touch and go’s at that airport in real life back in ‘89. Apparently they weren’t doing anything the day I was there and didn’t see anyone. I’ve actually stopped at that gas station a few times as well driving from LA to Tucson, Az. Even though it’s off a main interstate highway, you still feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere. KAPV in Apple Valley, Ca might be one that would interest you in doing. I did a lot of my PPL training there. It’s also a pretty small airport, in the roof of the high desert, but has a descent amount of activity and can accommodate biz jets.

Aviators love their wrist watches... what you got?
I’m the exact same way. In fact, I don’t even own a wedding ring despite being married 15 year 😂 I’ve never liked wearing rings, necklaces or bracelets of any type. Since my phone has a clock on it I never wore a watch either or considered it. That being said, I was surprised when I tried on the first watch that I bought and really like the way it looked. Granted, on both my watches I don’t use any of gadgets/timers, I just like the way they look and that style.

😂😂 Well in all fairness you probably could pick one up for that price but it most likely wouldn’t be in working order, stolen or just in pieces. It’s funny that when I got mine, I opted for the shiny polished braclet rather than some of the others braclet options because the polished steel matched the case. The only problem is that it’s so highly polished that it can scratch really easily. Knock on wood, I haven’t scratched mine yet, but for that reason, I tend to not wear it too often out of fear of putting a nick in it. That being said, I wear my TAG as a daily watch and over the course of three years, haven’t even put a small scratch on it. I am pretty self conscious about moving my hand/arm around to make sure I don’t bump it against anything. Thats really the only downside to buying expensive watches is the fear factor of damaging them or having them stolen. That being said, I bought my wife a nice TAG about 7 years ago and hers looks like she went through ARMY boot camp with it. I polish it once in a while to try to keep it as pristine as possible and ask her why it’s so beat up. She has no explanation, so I doubt I’ll ever buy her another nice watch and just stick to jewelry or purses for her.

Yep, I love it!! I like both the blue face and black face options, but for that layout, I think the black face is the cleanest looking. That being said, since I already have one Breitling, it’s the last one on my list since I don’t have a Rolex or Omega yet.

Aviators love their wrist watches... what you got?
@IAhawkeyeDDS Good topic since time pieces and aviation go hand in hand. I got bit by the watch bug 3 years ago and started to collect one nice watch per year when my wife and I go to Europe for Christmas vacation. However, since this last Christmas was cancelled, I wasn’t able to go and am stuck with one two watches so far. I have a Breitling Super Ocean (left) and one of the better TAG Aqua Racers (right). I got the TAG first at the TAG boutique in Paris on the Champs-Élysées. It was what got me started. The next year while passing through Paris I got the Breitling at the Breitling boutique on Rue de la Paix. I really only want a few more to complete my collection: Breitling Navitimer B01 -46mm Stainless with black face and white dials Rolex Deep Sea James Cameron model with two tone black/blue face Omega - maybe one of the Moon watches or something else. Haven’t decided yet. In the mean time, I accidentally got into collecting men’s fragrances after getting drawn in by something I smelled in Florance Italy. Unfortunately my fragrance collection has grown WAY bigger than my watch collection as I’ve aquited about 75 bottle vs two watches. Although my wife prefers the fragrances since I always smell good 😂 Just like anything else, it can get expensive quick. Just the other day my wife reminded me that I’d spent around 15k on fragrances over the course of the last year 😂😂

Which Zurich FSDT or Aerosoft?
See my post above. GSX does not control jetways unless they are SODE jetways that are incorporated into GSX like those at their KIAH and KMEM where you can call for them via the GSX menu. Post edit, see that someone already reiterated what I had already said prior, never mind.

Which Zurich FSDT or Aerosoft?
As Kamal said, GSX doesn't control jetways at airports, be it aftermarket or default, with the exception on some SODE jetways in the FSDT Memphis and KIAH that are incorporated into GSX. Even though AES is marketed through Aerosoft, you still need to buy AES credits for their airports that have static jetways. GSX aside from the aforementioned SODE jetways in their two sceneries has no effect at all on jetways.

Thanks. Good to see they are working on it again.

Do we have any traffic addons in development?
All that is not necessary, if you read it on their forum a link is fine. I'm a registered member so I can access their support forum. Sharing a link to a topic shouldn't be a problem since only registered member can read the payware section of their forum.

Can't find it. Can you post the link where they said it was under development again. Thanks

HiFi AS16 & ASCA discounts...
Same or better. I run 512 for both cirrus and cumulus because I don't like hard looking clouds and there is no FPS difference for me, but since they actually changed the physical cloud models to produce better effects, I get better FPS on stormy or overcast days than running ASN and separate cloud packages. The only option in ASCA I don't use is the sky textures. I still can't find any sky textures that beat HDEv2. Granted sky colors can change depending on variables but I have never seen sky colors like ASCA puts out sometimes and just keep my HDEv2 sky. But using ASCA with full dynamics and all options ticked for both cloud sets and cloud models produces great results.

Scenery texture question
The .agn files are the autogen files and the .bmp are the texture files. Usually the best way to go about this is to not remove the .bmp files but remove the .bgl file from the corresponding scenery folder that calls for the ground textures. If you just remove the .bmp texture files the sim will be continuously looking for those files and can cause performance issues. You'll notice that the scenery contains to folders, a scenery folder and a texture folder. The files you posted are in the texture folder. You need to find the .bgl in the scenery folder and either rename from .bgl to .off or remove it.

FSLabs A320x... an interesting post...
I was off to a rough start liking ASCA paired with AS16 until after the first few hotfixes. Now I love ASCA with full dynamics checked. However and this is the only sticking point for me. I leave the ASCA sky colors unchecked and still use the HDEv2 sky set which imho still looks more realistic than anything else, especially if you're not using any shader mods like sweetfx, etc. I also have both clouds set to 512 DXT5 and all other options enabled as I prefer the soft cloud look and also enjoy the VAS and FPS savings associated with 512 clouds, especially in overcast or stormy conditions. I still think ASCA sky colors need to further be improved as there are colors I have never seen anywhere in the world and under any circumstance, but aside from that, all else looks good and performs well.

Question about ASN manual vs live wx
