Hi,

 

Apart from looking at announcements in this forum, you can run the installer and select "check for updates now". It connects online and tells you wether or not there is a new version available.

 

Furthermore, if you active the option "Enable automatic updates" during installation, the plugin will check once a day for updates and prompts you if one is available!
