Wide Aspect View?

Featured Replies

Hi all-

I'm slowly making progress with XP11.

First order of business, getting XP11 across three Dell 27 UltraSharps. I've successfully done this by going into windowed mode and stretching that window across all three. Yes, I've got the horsepower to make this happen

When viewing this huge and wonderful environment, I can't see the instrument panel. In P3d, 'wide_aspect_view' can be enabled in the .cfg which allows me to zoom out and all's well. Does XP11 have this capability? Is there a camera app that could take the place of wide aspect view and allow this?

Thanks!

I've never messed with this since I've had never had a need to, but I think there's some settings that allow you to set different horizontal and vertical ratios. Not sure if those help? This is of course besides being able to adjust the FOV within the settings panel as well.

You can increase the maximum field of view inside the Graphics options. That's basically equivalent to zooming out the default views.

Then, if needed, you can adjust your point of view or zoom in with the relevant keys.
