February 5, 20179 yr Hello all and congrats to PMDG for my favorite aircraft..... 747 Doing the Tutorial for the first time and.... well, I am an engineer and always need to know the why's when i get a different result than the expected... Per tutorial on the 747 QOSII, set fuel to 75.0 and gross zfw 520. Per tutorial, trim recommendation should be as follows..: "Set the stabilizer trim to the takeoff value seen at LSK 4R from a few steps earlier (4.5 units up in this case)" The thing is, I am getting 6.2 for trim.... All is as per Tutorial.. Aircraft N744PM KDEN 17R December 2016 10:30 am AIRAC 1702 so..... Any thoughts? or simply a typo. My mind works this way... sorry. Would appreciate some help. Thank You..... February 5, 20179 yr Commercial Member 6.2 is correct - this was a late change during testing (the CG was too far forward in the algorithm that was distributing the load) - I'll fix it at some point in a revised version of the tutorial.
