February 5, 20179 yr I remember seeing something on the forums when the 777 came out about Trans-Pacific flights. Anyone know if there's something for the 747 yet, in particular flights to Australia as these don't use PACOTS. I'm planning on flying KSFO-YSSY tomorrow and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on procedural guides. You don't ask for a oceanic clearance as far as I know, except for that it is very similar to Atlantic crossing from what I am seeing.
