Blue Screen of Death!

Featured Replies

Hi all, I have noticed latey flying the awsome SGA DC-9-10 and 30 series planes I get a random blue screen of death when I go to spot view. I have tried to simulate the same thing with my other 100+ planes in my database but seem to work fine. Are there others having the same problem with them? Im on vacation and wont be able to mess around with it until the 1st of 06. Im thinking about pointing those DC-9s to the default panel and default sounds to see if it could actually be a sound problem or panel problem. Im using Ericks DC-9 sounds that he created for those planes. I know the sounds are very load on external view while at full throttle, hopefully its not a high volume problem that is causing my system to crash.Any Ideas,Thanks ad Happy Holidays!Bill

Can't comment on your specific problem, but last time I got a BSOD in Windows XP I had to push it really hard to get it there. It can take a lot of abuse, but when you get to BSOD stage it's time to think about the big "R" word.

Have you changed video drivers lately. Sometimes a " new and improved" driver will cause that....

I did, and then revert to my older ones (Nvidia 77.72), and the same thing happens.Bill

Do you use a creative sound card?I was having the same problem with the new fantastic(!), ifly 747. It tuned out to be a problem with the net framework software (that is being included in many add-ons these days) and old Creative sound card drivers. Once I updated to the latest Creative drivers everything was fine.
