I have problem with the cdu.Every time I start entering flight info into cdu it will freeze exactly at entering the cost index.Is anyone else having the same problem?How can this be fixed?

CI could be the final entry required to trigger complex FMC calculations, so a freeze for just a couple of seconds could be considered realistic.

 

Or does it freeze the whole aircraft or the whole sim for a longer period?

When it freezes that's it.I have to shut down FSX and start over again.
