Sound Focus (PMDG)

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm new to ChasePlane but after discovering it in Froogle, it has encouraged me to dust off FSX and get back into it. Well worth the effort especially after struggling with TrackIR and EZDoc which basically had me give up a couple of years back. Thank you.

I have a couple of questions.

1) When I run the PMDG 777, with ChasePlane on a second monitor, when I click in ChasePlane the sim keeps running but the sound stops. With the PMDG 737 the sound keeps going. I imported camera presets from my ancient EZDoc setup. Is there a setting I'm inadvertently missing?

2) I have a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick which I want to configure directly in the sim and the PMDG products so would rather not use it for views. Froogle talks about using an Xbox controller. If I buy an aftermarket unit and plug it into a USB port on my PC, can I use that in ChasePlane.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

1) Currently, if you click the ChasePlane window, it steals focus from the FSX window. I don't know how different the 777 and 737 are to that regard but we will find a solution to prevent ChasePlane from stealing focus. Watch for updates

2) Any DirectInput or XInput controller will work with ChasePlane
