December 29, 200520 yr Lars reported a day or so ago on his support forum that the server was offline. He will be returning home next week - where the server is located - and get it back on line soon.In true compliance with Murphy's Law - the server never has problems when he is around - only when traveling.
December 29, 200520 yr Excellent - thanks guys. Happy to know it's nothing permanent! [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)
December 29, 200520 yr Can anyone tell how to get Editvoicepack to work with WindowsXPx64 bit. I just got anew computer and I'm reloading FS2004.
December 30, 200520 yr >Can anyone tell how to get Editvoicepack to work with>WindowsXPx64 bit. I just got anew computer and I'm reloading>FS2004.Nothing special. The .NET Framework 1.1 should work fine on XP64.If you need the 2.0 Framework for other programs, install both version 1.1 and 2.0 (64 bit version).
December 31, 200520 yr Hi Lars' I've got version of NETFramework in the my system. When I try to start Editvoicepack I get an error message "Please read the Editvoicepack readme file (search for "CAB") for details on how to restore the original voicepack from the flightsim CD.
December 31, 200520 yr Do as instructed, and if it does not work I recommend posting on the EditVoicepack support forum, others might have had the same problem and found a solution. You will find a link on the EditVoicepack home page once I get near a reset button, which should just be a few days now. You can also find the forum from www.flightsimmer.comI doubt it has anything to do with your system being 64 bit - this is a .NET application which does not have to deal with this kind of hardware concerns.
January 3, 200620 yr Hi lars, I followed the troubleshooting guide and it still won't start. I replaced the CAB file in the sound folder in FS9. I made sure I have NET Frameworks in the system. Any other ideas?
