February 22, 20179 yr Hi all, When i have the aircraft in the right wing aft view. If i zoom out as far as possible the wing becomes kinda jagged. If i zoom in it goes away and becomes all smooth. I'm not sure why its doing this. I have anti aliasing enabled in FSX. The same thing happens in spot view, If i'm parked at the gate and i zoom out or view from the tower, the aircraft appears to have rough / jagged edged all over it. I wish i knew why this was happening as i have the anti aliasing turned on and thought this eliminated that. Is there something i'm missing within PMDG or FSX to correct this? It seems to be the only issue i'm having and if anyone knows a fix it would be very very helpful. Thank you
February 22, 20179 yr Commercial Member Rendering within the sim is done by the sim engine. Nothing we can do as PMDG. There's a little you can do as a user in your settings, but from the sounds of it, the rendering is done at the 1.0 zoom level, and zoom is just an effect lumped on top, which is causing you to see weird stuff. ...so...don't do the weird stuff that causes weird stuff. You pick up awful distortion at low zoom levels anyway. Kyle Rodgers
