VR would have saved me hundreds of dollars in add ons.

Still using Riftcat and my cellphone, will get the Oculus Rift some day, but clouds, weather, systems, sky textures, etc, don't really matter anymore.

Planes and scenery will still be needed here and there, but not as often.

As the resolution increases everything else will become more important again.

But if VR was available early on I'd likely went a lot longer before adding to the sim.
