  1. All the Cessna single engines so I can just be the instructor.
  2. I cannot find the price of the product.
  3. Thank you. I have tried, it says I have to have a seperate user ID and paasssword than my regular Avsim membership, and it will not accept my email when I try to sign up.
  4. Can one make a copy for a manual for their own use?
  5. Thank you, below is my life, I have tried many times to read the tutorial, but I have three unseen text messages just whiler typing this before editing it, I may have to go to the ER, or the scene of an accident, getting through tutorial may never happen. never have had more than 10 minutes to actually sit at the computer at one time. Think I bought the wrong aircraft. I am a Lay Pastor (Assistant Pastor), and this week I have had 2 funerals, prepared sermons for them, I have two services tomorrow and have prepared sermons for them, I have a funeral Monday, have to prepare a message for it, along with running a food pantry and on call at the hospital and nursing home, emergency food for folks, etc... Sitting with a dementia patient mornings till after lunch, picking my niece up from school, tutoring her, church on Wednesday evening, a recovery class for addicts on Thursday, etc... At most I get 30 minutes in the sim a couple of times a week. And 15 minutes to peruse the net here and there sporadically. I am a disabled veteran and medically retired, and all my pastoral duties, counseling, tutoring, etc... is voluntary but very fulfilling. I think I made a mistake in buying a complex aircraft, I get to devote if even, ten minutes a day to flying in the sim. I average 4 hours of sleep a night. And on top of all the above, I get terrible migraine headaches totally disabling me when they occur. Retirement is not what it is cracked up to be. And when fatigue catches me, or I have a migraine I have to turn the phones off. I cannot turn it off just to browse online, or to fly the sim, as sure as I do the hospital will call, or the PD, or the HP with accident victims or their families requesting a minister, and would hate to miss out on praying a final prayer with an injured person just before they take their last breath, and to comfort their family members. So actually, P3D, FS2Crew, and PMDG are very low priority for me. I would love to master them someday, but at this rate I may never do it. There are always deaths, accidents, hungry people, people on the verge of suicide, folks needing counseling, folks getting married, funerals, in hospitals, etc... If I have to mow the lawn, or clean the gutters, etc, anything I dislike to do I seem to get no calls to distract me, anything that makes me miserable but has to be done. Of course if I want to plant a tree, or do anything for leisure, or pleasure, read, relax, eat, or have anything to do on the sim, or computer otherwise than solid intense work the phone will ring every 2 minutes into it and I get called away, without fail. If I set my clock to wake me up at 6am and lay down at 10pm because I have to rest, I will fall asleep at 10:15pm, get a call at 10:30 pm with an emergency, get back in at 1 or 2am sleep for 20 minutes and get another call, get back at 3am, have to much adrenaline from what I saw to sleep, and at 5:50 am will pass out from pure exhaustion, and the alarm goes off at 6am, no time to hit the snooze. On the rare occasions I do have spare time with no calls, I am so sleep deprived that my vision is blurred and I am nauseated from the loss of rest, and there can be nothing but sleep then. It is what I do though. Another edit, the messages were two prayer requests, and and food request for tomorrow. It is 2:05 am and I cannot justify anything but going to bed so I can be productive in the morning.
  6. These two knobs are just to the left of the auto brakes selection knob, what do I set them to? I cannot find the settings in the PMDG 737 manuals that come with the plane. If the knob on the right is set to the VREF it says "Invalid setting" or "Invalid input" on the instrument display. Is there a setting to where the FO will call out all the speeds, or do you have to switch the knob after each speed is reached? - Stupid question.
  7. DOH! Didn't have the knob to the left of the auto brakes set, what setting do I set it to? I finally got it to call out rotation but not climb out. At least I am making headway.
  8. And they don't show on the instrument display, it actually says on the side of the display "No V speeds" or something to that effect. What am I doing wrong? I would love the FO to call out the V speeds, and rotate, etc...
  9. I bore easily, but, I am quite sure I am going to love this bird and eventually master it, because each time I do something new with it I actually feel a small surge of adrenaline and joy. Worth the money for the three items I have mentioned in this thread? Yes, very much so.
  10. Thank you, it didn't play immediately, the brief, so I probably clicked it 5 times or so, there's my answer I bet.
  11. Thanks, I printed the pages from the manual pertinent to flight. Earlier today I clicked on read, or say briefing and it was cool, but kept repeating and I shut down P3D because I could not stop it. I cannot locaTE HOW TO END THE BRIEFING, IS THERE A SPOKEN COMMAND? sorry for the caps, I hav e nerve damage and can hardly feel my finger tips, so sometimes hit caps lock on accident and don't realize it until I look up,n not yelling, lol-neck injury in the Army. If I select briefing while it is talking is the FO actually setting the settings mentioned in thre briefing?
  12. eventually, but usually I have a short amount of time to fly, when I have more time I will delve deeper into it. Could not open a single sheet from the link for charts, got errors, on all but one from the Avsim library, it said I needed to register seperately to have access, registering there now for access. Can't get registered or logged in at the avsim library. Will google and print.
  13. Thank you, will go there now. And I was thinking, non stop/unedited videos are good for tutorials, but horrible for cinematic style. I can always set for approach, then close the panels and resume recording for the call outs etc, or just edit it in an editor. Thank you all for the prompt and courteous help.
  14. Got it, it just had to click for me and it did, I set it to pre takeoff and flaps and it worked, initial climb allowed me to raise the gear and flaps, approach to lower flaps and gear, etc... Now I need to print the other commands, arm spoilers etc... Thank you for the help. It should be gravy from here on. Wish we could transition without changing the arrows, would make for clean, real time videos with no editing.
  15. Did nothing, it shows my command but nothing happens. Do I set my PMDG FMC to default set up, then start reboot, open the sec, click on PF, then do the down arrows? I am frustrated, a disabled Veteran on a very tight budget, saved and saved and splurged on the PMDG, FS2Crew, and a good headset, and cannot use it, should have just stuck with the plane only. I am stuck with FS2Crew I guess. If I could simply get the FO to set the flaps to 5, I would be on cloud 9. He said Roger one time but no flaps.
  16. Start with the pre-flight checklist but not actually go through it? But the FO will raise the gear etc?
  17. I care less about check lists, flight plans, 30 minutes to go from cold and dark to lift off for now. I want to just start out with creating a simple free flight, letting the systems load, telling the FO to add flaps, set this or that, take off, raise the gear, etc. Thus far everything looks successful as far as loading and my voice working, but yet to have the FO actually do anything I say. Do I have to follow specific checklists in order to have a simple short hop and not just be able to fly basically a manual flight with the FO just following a few simple commands? Fotr now I just want to fly a little and see the flaps get set by my voice command, not have to print out a full manual and spend hours pouring over everything. I want to gradually work my way up to that. Just a simple set "Set flaps" "Check" And the flaps actually being deployed will be worth my money. But if I have to go through an act of congress to use PMDG 737, FS2Crew reboot, and my very expensive headset for a 60 minute hop, then the $350 I spent on the three items are wasted. Thank you. I have set everything according the the reboot pdf and see my words in the green line above the sec panel, but simply want to have ther FO set the flaps to 5, or 10, etc... I can fly manually as easy as pie, I want to ease into full sytem checklists, ATC, and all that. If it is required to go through all that from day one, I bought the wrong program. Might take a look at MCE.
  18. I can fly hands on only tonight, relax a bit and it constantly banks to the left, but all AC tend to do that even with P-factor and torque turned off in P3D realism settings. Last night I made two flights using the AP, it would at least hold the heading and sometimes hold the altitude, had to monitor altitude after any changes with the vertical speed dial, speed with minute changes of throttle, any push of the spd or alt buttons resulted in everything going to Hades quick. Why won't the AP do anything tonight when it worked a little last night. I think I have a beautiful, manual flight mode only airplane. and long flights are a no go as I have to keep right pressure on the joystick.
  19. Took the PSU out, will get a new one soon.
  20. Last post was from cell phone as bad storms were coming in and I had unplugged the power and ethernet to the PC in case of lightning. When I plugged it back in a bit ago the fans moved and eighth of an inch and an LED on the mobo and the LED lighted fan flashed, then nothing. Took the cover off and found a few mouse droppings in the case, but no chewed wired, and nothing unplugged. Perhaps a mouse shorted something, no idea, will have a friend help me diagnose the issue. Must count my blessings, better than getting mad. Thanks for your help guys, I appreciate it, but AA and shimmering is the least of my problems right now, LOL. On my smart TV right now, with my keyboard and mouse plugged in, could be much worse I suppose.
