January 1, 200620 yr Hello,I have the new Weather Maker Pro 4.1 - it fills a gap for me when I want to fly in weather that I select and not real weather. I am really happy so far with the addon but have a question if anyone else is savy about this program.I do not understand how to "accuratley" position weather items using their map system. The program generates XML code that I have been editing with an XML editor to get what I want. The position of the "weather activities" that I add to my "scapes" does not seem to come out where I believe I entered it on the WP4.1 map. SO, I change the lat/longs of the activities to match up with the real lat/longs of the world positions that I want to fly in.Other than long load times for the generated weather scapes, I really like this program whan I need weather at locations that I am training in for VFR and IFR practice. Thanks in advance,Ron SagelNEAR KCHS

The maps in WMPRO4 are based upon full lat/lont, but not down to the .0000. There are some areas on the maps that I have noticed over the past couple of times that do not handle the positioning correctly. So I will fine tune that. It is very hard to recompute pixels to lat/lont positions.Particualary on the USA map around the center of the US from coast to coast. On my original version of WMPRO1,2 I had specific areas which worked very well, but it didn't cover the whole USA or other parts of the world. So in version 3 I moved to full maps. With that I lost some of the specific generation.>Other than long load times for the generated weather scapes, I>really like this program whan I need weather at locations that>I am training in for VFR and IFR practice. The long load times is that it is loading larger areas of weather with the fuller maps. This was the trade of for having larger coverage areas over the specific smaller areas.Since, it looks like FSX will not be out until towards the end of the year, I will have some time to better work these areas out.
