I'm pleased to report that I haven't been abducted guys! Scenery design is something of a winter hobby for me as my job keeps me pretty busy during the summer - and any spare time then is taken up with hiking and stuff.I'm finishing work now on Part 3 of my North Cascades series of bush airstrips. It adds 4 more devilish runways to the region, that I hope you'll all enjoy:BOX CANYON: This is what the place is called in real life. It's tucked away just past a dogleg in a narrow canyon. Then when you reach the airstrip, it's uphill - and curved. You can come in the other way too - initially on a 7 degree glideslope ILS, followed by a visual segment along a river - quite scary. My SF-260's brakes barely stop me before I go off the end (the eventual landing is downhill of course).RAPTOR'S AERIE: There are 2 short and narrow sloped airstrips here, at what I think is my highest elevation airfield in the series. A great launch point to thunder down at 200 knots to the North Fork Junction or Hermit's Lair strips below.BEAVER PASS: A longish airstrip, but then again, only half of it is usable because it's so darn bumpy! Pick your landing spot on Runway 32 with care.PIONEER STRIP: A simple, short, low elevation airstrip near Mt. Baker. U-turns in the canyon to land on Runway 23 are pretty fun!I have a busy weekend coming up, but will endeavour to upload it in a couple of weeks. All the best guys, and thanks for the concern!Happy New Year,JamesBy the way, I've changed my ISP, which is why my website was down, and I don't have the time to maintain it in the future. Just keep an eye on Avsim - my new stuff will always be there first.
