March 12, 20179 yr according to the intro manual if smart callouts are selected they sound only when the plane is on a G/S, but they dont sound. Honeywell in its manual says the opposite. [Copyrighted material] that worries me since NGX and T7. so how is it supposed to work and what Im doing wrong? thanks
March 12, 20179 yr The reality is the So called 'smart callout' options should be as follows: a. Set to always be On always. 2500, 1000 & 500 callouts. (2500 callout does have different options) b. Set to be Off always. 2500, 1000 & 500 callouts. c In the case of the '500' call set to be 'Smart' when glideslope or localizer not received, or glideslope or localizer deviation greater than two dots. March 12, 20179 yr Author so what is the reason that PMDG keeps writing the opposite in the manuals (NGX, T7, QOS)?
