Random beacon light pattern

Hi,

I've noticed in both the 747-400 QOS II and 737 NGX that the beacon light pattern is very random.

It doesn't flash consistently.  It flashes 5 times then stops for 2 seconds then flashes again 2 times etc.  

IS this normal or is there a setting I can change?

I believe it is normal. If I remember it has something to do with FPS and refresh rate nothing we can do

I recall there was a discussion about real world videos not showing the flashes properly. Does it also affect 744v3?
