OOM's in P3D with PMDG and Milvez

Recommended Posts

Will not be able to fly until late tonight but hoping I can get improvement tonight. I can fly default and some payware AC all day long, but these two lead almost to instant dings and an OOM.

I suspect part of it may be having two other programs open to work around not having OR.

Tonight I will try shutting down all non essential processes first, have not been doing that, and shutting down Malware and my anti-virus, even though it has been in game mode.

I have been lazy, and have not been shutting anything down.

I have also allowed for more virtual memory, but this time only 1.5 times my RAM, I went way overboard last time, and read that can cause instant OOMs, I have not flown since making that change yet either.

I will also dial back the settings more, I am flying VR with a cellphone at 1920x1080 so high graphics are not going to happen anyway, although it is quite awesome.

I hope tonight I can enjoy P3D in VR with my Milvez heli.

Hi,

I would suggest that you post your specs when asking for advice. What OS, Memory, Processor and speed, video card and so on.
