I've never tried gliders in any sim. I noticed that it is a 45 nm distance between the two airports with a 10,000 foot ridge in between and you are flying into the prevailing winds. Did you make it? What sim are you using?

Yes, made it all the way.  Had a slight (4 knots) quartering tailwind.  FSX:SE with CumulusX! for the thermals.

Haven't read the manual, so I don't know what the blue lines are.
