Thanks so much for this real pearl of software!! I do love it.
I got some suggestions maybe you can implement:

 

• Why do not put a fuel planning window that easily take the data from fuelplanner.com?
• Do you think it would be possible to also choose the KIAS for the route planning, and not only ground speed?

They have an API which I can access from my program and apparently it is free. Looks doable. I'll put it on my list. Good idea.

GS is the simplest way to estimate for route planning. Calculating e.g. arrival time based on IAS involves more calculations that depend on wind, temperature, altitude and probably more parameters.
