January 7, 200620 yr Hey everybody!I've gotten some great help here in the past, so I thought I'd try again!Since I've gotten TrackIR4 and a yoke, I'm lovin' FS9 in a whole new way! You really feel immersed in the cockpit...Until...you have to answer ATC. Then, I have to take my eyes off the panel, and look down at the keyboard to find some number key in order to answer the ATC. Then, reorient my view back to the panel and take one hand off the yoke, and press that key...Over and over. Some times, it is not an issue...but, on approach, I need every advantage! So, my question is this:What program(s) can you recommend for controlling ATC by voice? I have tried "Shoot" but can't seem to get it going. After buying a yoke/pedal combo, and TrackIR4, I have some financial concerns, as well.Any help would be MORE than appreciated!See ya up there!Clayton
January 7, 200620 yr Get Radar Contact 4 and let your co-pilot handle the radio communication. Works like a Charm......and the plus is you get great ATC anywhere in the world at any time you want to fly. http://www.jdtllc.com/

January 7, 200620 yr There is a neat little gauge in the library that I've found helpful. Look for atcdigits_tutorial.zip by Nick Pike and David "Opa" Marshall. It provides a gauge that displays clickable ATC response numbers on an instrument panel. I find it easier to click the mouse than to use the keyboard. As the name implies, the DL includes instructions on how to add the gauge to your existing instrument panels. There are examples and even panel config files which will add the gauge to the default 737 and 172. R-
