January 7, 200620 yr Hi,Flying the 767LDS with FS2004 to Vienna from Paris, I experienced a CTD as I was turning towards the runway (today, so that was in winter). I never had any CTD before, this is the first one. Also, I use ActiveSky.Anyone has a clue as to whta caused it and how to solve it?Regards,Fran
January 8, 200620 yr Were you flying online or offline?Do you have any add-on scenery installed? If you try the flight again, do you get a CTD? How about without using ActiveSky?I've been plagued by CTD's and lockups recently, too. They can be caused by a myriad of different things and can be tough to track down.Don S.
January 8, 200620 yr A rogue, recently added AFCAD or AFCAD2 file for the area is always high on my list, but I'm not an expert. Check for redundant or multiple files covering the same area, and if you find one delete one or both to determine if thats the problem.http://www.graphics-free.com/animations/tr...ges/plane_6.gifAlex ChristoffN562ZBaltimore, MD PowerSpec G426 PC running Windows 11 Pro 64-bit OS, Intel Core i7 11700K @ 3.60GHz 30 °C, 4089MB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 , ASUS TUF Z590-Plus Gaming motherboard, Samsung 870 EVO 2TB SSD, Samsung 750 EVO 500GB SSD, Acer Predator X34 34" curved monitor (external view), RealSim Gear G-1000 avionics suite, RealSim Gear GNS 450, Slavix Stay Level Custom Metal Panel, Honeycomb Alpha Yoke, Redbird Alloy THI, Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals.
January 8, 200620 yr Hi,I was flying offline, the scenery for Vienna is the default MS scenery and I am using the latest Activesky. The only new bit on my PC is the .NET environment used for Activeskygraphics.I have done another approach using the Flight1 ATR also in winter, and no crashes and I also did patterns around vienna, no crashes.I wonder if there was an issue with the waypoint I was trying to reach (WW002).Fran
