ORBX Open LC User Guide Question

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

I have a question regarding the ORBX Open LC North America and Europe's Use Guides. I wasn't to configure my sim settings as ORBX recommend to see if I can reduce my blurry textures.

A few things in the PDF User Guide confuse me.  First of all It states Level of detail radius = Large. In P3D Settings it goes Low, Medium, High, Ultra & Max. Does any of you know what Large equates to? The second thing that confuses me is Global texture resolution = Max, I can't find this part within P3D nor Mesh complexity to be set at 100.

If anyone can help that would be great.

Thanks,

Jonathan

I've got Level of detail radius set to Max, and texture resolution slider far right at 7cm.  Mesh resolution further right than 5m can cause many problems and I keep it there.  If you have enough power in your system you might try higher LOD settings in the prepar3d.cfg file... but refer to the AVSIM Prepar3D Guide before venturing there.

Thanks for the reply Dan, will check out the Avsim Prear3D Guide now.

Thanks,
