April 11, 20179 yr The altitude tape will start off around 9,000' after take off. The needle is clearly showing that the 747 is ascending but the altitude in feet goes down but the motion of the tape is going from top to bottom which is normal. The backup altimeter is black. I guess I'll have to un-install if that's the only way. but when I do should the liveries un-install also?

After the reinstall run the PMDG Operation Center again. You will see a message that you have liveries to repair. Select OK and your liveries are back as they were prior to the uninstall.
